We are now looking to further strengthen our Sales Team with an experienced Account Director, based in Amsterdam.
Your opportunity
As Account Director in this wholesale environment you will be responsible for optimizing the relationship with our existing Channel Partners, as well as prospect Channel Partners and manage at least one key account. The job involves multilevel selling of value added services to our Channel Partners and funnel management of international multi-site projects consisting of various services (e.g. Internet Access, VPN Solutions and other connectivity solutions) for our Channel Partner’s multinational end-customers. You will liaise closely with Channel Partner’s central buying and product organization decision makers at various levels, as well as sales organizations of the Channel Partners to increase hit rate and revenue while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will have to be able to increase awareness about the value Expereo is adding to the service of this Channel Partner. You will follow up on all quotations and enquiries of both strategic as well as operational levels.
Regular travelling is required.
The Account Director is a member of the Sales Team, and reports to the Director Sales EMEA.
Your primary tasks and responsibilities will be to:
- Manage existing accounts, of which at least one key-account, and build relations at various operational and strategic levels;
- Qualify, respond and proactively follow up on all customer enquiries;
- Increase awareness of Expereo capabilities providing training and presentations to channel partners;
- Act as focal point for all Channel Partner’s inquiries both on a case by case and project level;
- Set the pace with clients and liaise with internal (pre- and post-sales) departments while managing client’s expectations;
- Participate in various project teams in order to support the business.
Profile
- You are an eager salesperson with a focus on results and client satisfaction
- Completed higher education (HBO/University)
- Minimum of 5 years of Account Management and Solution Selling experience
- Sales experience in preferably international Telco environment and ideally in large Global Service Provider selling Global Network Communications Solutions to Multinational Companies & Organizations
- Ability to build and sustain relationships on various levels and liaise with pre- and post-sales departments
- English and German proficiency is a must, Dutch and other language is beneficial
- Interest in Access Networking Technologies and VPN Solutions
- Willing and able to travel regularly
- You are a self-starter and motivator of others
- You are an entrepreneur with a team player mentality and you have excellent communication and presentation skills in English
