The challenge: How to connect multiple offices globally

Heras needed a partner who could connect their offices in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France, enabling them to consolidate the number of partners they work with and improve the visibility of the network performance across these countries.

They also required a solution for a remote site that had always suffered with poor connectivity, as the facility is located where a fixed line was not available and mobile connectivity was limited. Only 4G connectivity had been available which was impacting the performance of Microsoft Office and their proprietary business applications.

The solution: Combining DIA and LEO satellite to solve global connectivity challenges

Expereo designed, installed and managed a DIA underlay solution for their 12 locations in 5 countries. We also provided high-performance connectivity to the remote location through a managed Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite solution based on Starlink technology. With LEO, the team are now able to use their business applications in that location as they would in any Heras office.

As well as reliable connectivity, Expereo also provided complete visibility of Heras’ network performance and insights through our network visibility platform, expereoOne. Now their IT team have complete network visibility whenever they need it.
